Hockey
SNHC has two world-class ‘wet’ hockey pitches, which have hosted events such as the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, Australian National Lacrosse Championships and the Australian Hockey League. In late 2009, SNHC hosted the worlds premier hockey tournament, the ABN AMRO Men's Hockey Champions Trophy.
Both hockey pitches are recognised by the International Hockey Federation as being of interntional standard. The main pitch is the premier hockey pitch in Victoria, featuring a 1000 seat undercover grandstand with an additional 2016 seat portable grandstand on the eastern embankment. The second pitch has a longer playing area to allow for Lacrosse, Grid Iron and a hockey warm up area, with a 325 seat grandstand.
Both pitches have a built in irrigation system that utilise recycled water.
The pitches can be used for a variety of activities and events including:

Grandstands overlook each pitch, accompanied by grassed seating areas surrounding the field. Hockey pitch facilities include:
- 1000 seat grandstand on Pitch One
- 325 seat grandstand on Pitch Two
