Work Experience & Work Placement
The State Sport Centres Trust provides opportunities for both work experience and work placement in the sport and recreation industry across its three venues.
Work Experience Program
The work experience program typically runs for one week and give candidates a wide ranging perspective on the operations of a business in the sport and recreation industry. Participants in the work experience program will gain first-hand experience in both operations and administrative roles.
The popularity of the program is such that requests for placements should be made 6-12 months in advance. Requests should be directed to the Customer Service Manager:

Work Placement Program
The work placement program is typically for an extended time to suit qualification requirements. The work placement can be designed to cater specifically for the course needs of successful applicants and will typically be focused on one specific area of the sport and recreation industry (e.g. operations or events management).
Work placements at SSCT are in high demand. As such, requests should be made 6-12 months in advance.
