Location

The State Netball Hockey Centre is located on Brens Drive, Royal Park, adjacent to the Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens (Melways Ref. Map 29 D12 or Map 2A H1). It is three kilometres from the CBD and easily accessible by Citylink and Public Transport.

 

Public Transport

SNHC is well serviced by public transport, with a tramline running along the rear of the complex and Royal Park Train Station only 5 minutes walk away.

Tram route 55 stops at SNHC (stop #24) along with train services via the Upfield Line, stopping at Royal Park station. Bicycle racks are located outside the main entrance to the centre.

As parking is fairly limited, SNHC actively promotes the use of public transport, particularly to event patrons.

 

Parking

While the State Netball Hockey Centre is well serviced by public transport, limited on-site car parking is also available. There are 320 paved car parking spaces with an additional 330 car parking spaces available in the overflow areas adjacent. This gives a total of 650 car parking spaces available. Please note that parking fees apply for major events.
